Downs Design Group, Inc. is a Bay Area based firm that is known for its detailed, well thought out and refined approach in expressing their client’s points of view with practical but luxurious results. The mission at Downs Design Group is to create spaces that work functionally while being unique. Being creative and technically trained allows Downs Design Group to maximize client’s budgets while still evoking the “wow” factor. Joey Lang is the founder and Principal at Downs Design Group, Inc. and holds a B.A. in Fine Arts from College of Notre University and also a B.F.A. in Interior Architecture and Design from San Francisco’s prestigious Academy of Art University. Prior to opening Downs Design Group, Inc. in 2007, Joey worked for a high end residential Studio in San Mateo working on homes from 1200 square feet to 12,000 square feet. Before that his background was in the commercial and retail arena with a firm in southern California.
